With sports providing coach Jo-Jo the opportunity to see the world collegiately and professionally he knew it would be a part of his future. He started coaching on college summer breaks at 20 years old. Those coaching duties began to expand over the years and provided opportunities to coach boys and girls from ages 5-18 years old. This eventually led to him starting and running a 501c3 Non-Profit Ladies First Akron Inc. An organization that focuses on teaching life skills to inner city young ladies ages 5-18. Beyond sports Coach Jo-Jo specializes in youth mental health. Coach Jo-Jo has spent time speaking at youth development conferences and events referencing the endless possibilities that exist in the mind.
