According to U.S. publishing statistics, in 2018 there were more children’s books featuring animals and other non-human characters (27%) than all types of visible minorities combined (23%). Meanwhile, half of all the children’s books reviewed featured white kids.
In order to showcase the life of African American culture Kenneth J. has begun to write children’s books.
These books will highlight normal everyday experiences that people from all walks of life can relate to. His first production titled “We Love Our Daddy” will be released in the fall of 2020.
